How to set a password in the router

Hello friends as you all know that we all love wireless networks because it gives us the full freedom to use the internet connection wherever we want with the help of wi-fi singnals. But when we starts using wi-fi or wireless networks it is our responsibility that we should protect our wireless network with proper security setup and in this blog post i am going to explain that. i am going to show you the most easy method and you do not require any CD or any type of special software to do the security settings. Just follow the below steps:-
1. To access your router through your web browser, enter the address into the URL. Typical router addresses include 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1, and 192.168.2.1.
2. The default username and password for most routers is “admin” in both fields. If this doesn’t work, try leaving one field blank and typing admin into the other. If it doesn’t match with that then go through your guide of router.
3. Most routers have several options available when it comes to security. You can typically choose between WEP, WPA-PSK(Personal), or WPA2-PSK. If you can, select WPA2 because it is the most secure form of encryption available for wireless networks. Some older routers don’t have this option.
4. The SSID is the name of the network, and the passphrase will need to be entered by any device that connects to that SSID.
5.Save your new settings and refresh your router.
